This is a timeless tale attempting to answer the question, "Who is running the asylum?" Based on the classic modern American novel, Ken Kesey's hero, Randall P. McMurphy, gets himself admitted to a state mental institution to avoid a jail sentence. But the defiance that starts out as sport soon develops into a grim struggle and all out war with the Nurse Ratched.
