ADVANCE TICKET ORDERS

Advance ticket orders can be placed by phone or mail. You can contact our box office manager via voice mail at 973-744-9752. Since we're a community theatre, our box office is not staffed on a regular basis except for one hour prior to performances. During the run of a show, ticket orders received by phone are processed daily. Between shows, orders are processed within three days. We try our best to confirm by return phone call all voice mail ticket orders; however, it is sometimes impossible to confirm those placed within 24 hours of curtain time.

All other questions can also be directed to the box office phone; the box office manager will forward your name, number, and question to the appropriate person, or call you back herself.

Advance Reservations

Advance ticket reservations for any performance may be made by phone up until 2 hours prior to curtain time. Within 2 hours of curtain, all tickets for that performance must be purchased in person at the box office.

Advance reservations must be prepaid by personal check (via mail) or by credit card (MasterCard and VISA only). Tickets are held at the box office unless you specifically request that they be mailed to you (and the order is placed at least one week in advance).

Studio Playhouse members are allowed to place unpaid ticket reservations. Unpaid ticket reservations are held until 15 minutes before the scheduled show time, after which we reserve the right to release them into general sales.

Exchanging Tickets

If you can't make it to a show, simply call the Box Office or mail your tickets to us in advance, along with your request for a new date. We must receive your exchange request at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled performance. We cannot exchange tickets on the day of your performance or after your performance has passed. We cannot exchange tickets from one play to another. Please be aware that exchanges are subject to availability, but we will make every effort to provide you with comparable seats.

Lost Tickets

Tickets are never truly "lost". If you are a subscriber or made a ticket reservation under a specific name, it is simple for us to reprint your tickets. If we are notified less than a week before show time, we will hold your tickets at the box office.

Refund Policy

We are unable to offer refunds for unused tickets, but if you know you cannot use your tickets, you can either exchange them (see above) or you may donate them to the Playhouse. Since we are a nonprofit organization, if you turn in unused tickets to the box-office, your donation is 100% tax deductible.
