WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW

Don't Dress for Dinner

Don't Dress for Dinner

RAINE BROWN (Suzanne) has spent over a decade training and performing at various prestigious acting schools and acting companies in NJ and NY. She is a classically trained actor who has played many of Shakespeare's heroines such as Juliet, Ophelia, Lady MacBeth, Hermia, Beatrice, Katharina, Phoebe, and Rosalind at the Hudson Shakespeare Co., and Montclair State. Further, she has performed modern pieces such as Laura in The Glass Menagerie at the Nutley Little Theatre. Most recently, Raine has been pursuing her film career and has been cast in numerous independent and student films. As luck would have it, she is making a go at usurping the "scream queen" title from Jamie Lee-Curtis by consistently being cast in horror movies such as Horror and A Nightmare at Shallow Point. You may have most recently caught a quick glimpse of Raine when she was featured last season on TV in both Sex and the City and Strangers with Candy.

KEN BUDRIS (Director/Set Designer) has been involved with Studio Players for several years onstage and off and behind the scenes. Most recently seen as Jonathan in last season's Arsenic and Old Lace, Ken has previously appeared in Studio's productions of Murder Among Friends, Out of Order, Office Hours, Moon Over Buffalo and Play On! (which he also directed). Ken's directing credits at Studio also include Don't Drink the Water. Recently, Ken has begun "screwing around" with sets as Assistant Production Manager.

CLAUDIA EBERLY (Asst. Director/Lighting & Sound Designer) is thrilled to be making her directorial debut at Studio, especially for this show in particular, working with the Budris-Fox team for the 3rd time. And since Claudia portrayed the role of Jacqueline at Antrum Players in NY, it's nice to be on "the other side". Claudia has directed 3 shows, set designed 15 shows, designed lighting for 7 shows, and sound designed for God knows how many shows. Claudia has a degree in Theatre Fine Arts and does sound design for a career. Claudia was last seen on the Studio stage in Saturday Night, Play On!, Rocky Horror Live, and Don't Drink the Water.

MITCH FRANK (Robert) currently serves as Vice President of the Studio Playhouse and is a familiar face to our audiences, having appeared in many productions during the past 15 years. Favorite roles include George in Moon Over Buffalo (for which he was nominated for a Perry Award as Best Actor in a Play), Ken in Rumors, Manolo in The Female Odd Couple, George in Out of Order, Stanley in Broadway Bound, Gary/Roger in Noises Off, Ken de la Maize in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Michael in Alone Together and Kholenkov in You Can't Take It With You. Mitch has also appeared at the Barn Theater in Rumors and The Odd Couple, at Nutley Little Theater in Room Service and at the dear departed Montclair Dramatic Club in Randall's Thumb, The Imaginary Invalid and The Female Odd Couple.

AMY FOX (Stage Manager) is a veteran stage manager at Studio Playhouse. This is her third collaboration with the infamous Ken Budris, and each show has been more fun than the last. Amy is pleased that this year, Claudia Eberly, who in past Budris-Fox projects was a member of the talented cast, is a part of the creative team. The process has begun with great talent on and off the stage and the product will be exceptional!

MARK LIEBERT (Bernard) has been involved with Studio Players for ten years where he has directed several shows (including: The Taming of the Shrew, Office Hours and My Three Angels) and has acted in even more (including: Walter in Don't Drink the Water, Vandergelder in Hello Dolly, Lenny in Rumors and Jerry in Play On!). Mark not only directed Around the Horn and Quillow, the Musical, he was also the playwright. When not writing, directing or acting, Mark serves on the Board of Managers as Production manager, designs and builds sets.

DAN LUGO (George) is thrilled to be on the Studio stage again. Dan was last seen as Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew.

JANINE MISCIA (Suzette) made her Studio debut as the Candymaker in Quillow and was last seen in Saturday Night (Mildred/Female Vocalist). A 2002 graduate of The College of NJ, she performed with several choral ensembles and theatrical groups including the improv troupe Mixed Signals, the Trentones (a cappella) and Opera Theatre of TCNJ. Janine continues to enjoy her greatest 'role' as a full-time Math Teacher at Cedar Grove HS.

BETH NAPOLI (Jacqueline) is pleased to be back on the Studio stage. She was last seen here in Quillow as the Baker, Play On! as Violet, and Hello Dolly as Minnie Faye in which she was also the Choreographer. Some other credits include Florence Doyle in Annie Warbucks and Lily St. Regis in Annie both at MOC. Beth has performed in numerous shows around the state, her favorites include, Charity in Sweet Charity, Cassie in A Chorus Line, Janet in The Rocky Horror Show, Lena Lamont in Singing in the Rain, and Tina in Tony and Tina's Wedding. Beth has also performed her cabaret at Don't Tell Mamas in NYC.
